#5 Hemp for Victory Again?

Victory for Hemp Again?

The video "Hemp for Victory" that the Department of Agriculture put out for farmers in 1942 definitely gave the farmers a lot of facts about hemp and how it's made (Being farmers I'm sure they knew a lot of that already), but it did not mention much on how they were helping there military in time of need. It did show how much it helps a boat and its anchor but what did it do for the people... Like in the 1940's hemp can go a long way today. It can really make just about anything like fiber, seed, oil, and clothes. Another wonderful thing about hemp is that it is extremely durable, even our own Declaration of Independence is made out of hemp paper. Do you think the paper we use today would last over 200 years? Sounds to me our forefather had somethings right.
There is 196 Countries in the World (Rosenburg). Around 30 of those countries grow and sell hemp (Hanson, Geisler). That is a significant amount of other countries that want to buy some sort of hemp products in there country. Lots of $ people. When were making these longer lasting cloths, ropes, and even paper we will have abundance and will not need to buy these things from any other countries. It even takes many years of crops for the soil to need rest unlike many crops we grow in the U.S. I don't see why the government put so many laws back on hemp after the war. It does nothing but help them and the government does not allow the glowing of it for what reasons... I wish they'd answer these questions.
